Snow removal crews are busy clearing the streets of Winnipeg after our latest dumping of snow.

The main priority is keeping main routes, bus routes and collector streets clean.

Sanding efforts will also continue around the clock until road conditions improve.

Back lanes will be plowed starting Monday morning at 7 a.m.

About 200 pieces of equipment are being rolled out for the clean up operation.

The city is warning motorists to drive to road conditions, and to be cautious when driving near plowing and sanding vehicles.

And a reminder that the seasonal overnight parking ban on snow routes is still in effect until March 1.

To avoid getting a ticket, don't park on roads marked as snow routes between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. If you have questions about where you can park, call 311.
