Peter Chura returned to Global Winnipeg in May 2007 as anchor and supervising producer of the Evening News at 6 PM. Prior to this, he spent seven years as the Parliament Hill correspondent for CHUM’s CityTV and A-Channel. -
Shannon Martin

A lifelong prairie girl, Shannon Martin has worked at several stations across Manitoba. Her experience started behind the camera as a television writer/producer for a Winnipeg morning show. She then worked as a writer/producer and reporter at Global Winnipeg before moving to the anchor desk with a CTV affiliate in Northern Ontario. -
