They showed the news cameras exactly what a fifty million dollar kiss looks like as they left the Canadian Western Lotto Corporation today.

Kirby and Marie Fontaine have made history, sitting on the largest lottery jackpot ever won in Manitoba.

For now, they're leaving us with only one word to describe their record breaking win.

"UNBELEIVEABLE!!!" shouted Marie.

But high among feelings associated with a lotto win can come stress.

"It can be very overwhelming for people and we do hear that often," explained WCLC spokesperson, Andrea Marantz.

Coming from Sagkeeng First Nation, the multimillion dollar win will be a huge adjustment for the Fontaines. Forty one year old, Kirby was a band constable before suffering a stroke.

They haven’t received their money yet, instead, they were given a winners kit from the lotto corporation outlining how to deal with media, investments and requests for money.

"People are often concerned about their personal security- I understand that," added Marantz.

The Fontaine's will have a lot to consider before they get their enormous cheque at a news conference in Winnipeg tomorrow.

Sagkeeng first nation chief, Donovan Fontaine, is a relative of the lucky couple. He is acting as a family spokesperson.

"It's a story beyond anyone's wildest dreams, we're all excited. The whole region is excited. The community is excited.”

He says he doesn't think the win will change the couple much - adding they plan to still live on the reserve.

“It’s both a blessing and both a curse. They're good people though. They'll find a balance."

The 50 million dollar jackpot may have been won - but don't throw away your ticket just yet. On Friday night, 10 bonus prizes were also drawn. Still out there - a winning one million dollar ticket in Winnipeg.
